"Quran, The Final Testament, A General Outlook."
1. The revelation of the Quran
In the night of destiny, Gabriel brought down the Quran into
the heart of the prophet Muhammed by God's command, confirming previous
scriptures, providing guidance to the best path with details of everything
and good news for the believers who lead a righteous life. The Quran is
infallible; it comes from the Lord of the worlds. (2:97) (6:114) (10:37)
(17:9) (97:1) (46:12).
Ramadan is the month during which it was revealed,
providing clear teachings, and guidance for mankind. Whoever witnesses
this month shall fast therein. It is a sacred scripture and the best
enlightenment for those who possess intelligence and want to take heed.
(2:185)(38:29)(4:58)
Truthfully, the Quran has been sent down, and with it the
truth came down. It was released in portions, so that the prophet may read
it to the people over a long period of time, although God sent it down in
successive sections. We should ask questions about matters only in the
light of the Quran, then everything would become obvious to us. God
deliberately overlooked some matters in order to make the religion easier
to practice, because he's the forgiver the clement. (17:105-106)(5:101)
God has sent down the Quran with his knowledge and
decreed it as law with clear revelations that we may take heed. (24:1)
(4:166) (11:14)
If God sent down the Quran on a mountain, we would have
seen it trembling, crumbling, and falling down by the fear of God. (59:21)
If all the humans and all the jinns joined forces to
produce something like the Quran, they would never be successful even if
they supported each other. (17:88)
The Quran is a blessed scripture and a great miracle from
the Most Wise who counted everything in a record. It contains
straightforward verses, which constitute the essence of the scripture, as
well as allegorical verses. It leads the believers out of the darkness
into the light, and strengthens their faith. (74:35) (78:29) (6:92) (57:9)
(9:124) (3:7) (21:50) (29:51)
2. The Quran and the previous scriptures
When the Quran is recited to those who were given
knowledge from the previous scriptures, they fall down on their faces,
prostrating. (17:107)
The Quran was sent down in order to proclaim for the Jews
and the Christian many things they have concealed in the scriptures, and
to overlook plenty more. It settles for them most of the matters, which
they are still disputing. It points out for them what they disagree.
Ironically, they were the first ones who rejected it, despite clear proofs
given to them. This is due to jealousy on their part. God guides those who
believe to the truth, which is disputed by all others, in accordance with
His will. (5:15) (2:213) (27:76) (16:64)
Those who have rejected its proof when it came to them
have in fact rejected a Mighty Book. No falsehood could enter it, in the
past or in the future; a revelation from the Most Wise, worthy of all
Praise. It contains what was said to the previous messengers. (41:41-43)
God sent the Quran with the truth, confirming previous
scriptures, and superseding them. We shall judge in accordance with God's
revelations, and never follow the disbelievers wishes if they differ from
the Quranic truth. For each community, God has decreed laws and different
rites. If God willed, He could have made us a single community. But God's
plan was to test us in the revelations He has given each of our
communities. And on the last day, God will inform us of the matters in
which we dispute. (5:48)
The Quran is intended to every community. And the prophet
Mohammed was sent as a universal Warner. God revealed the best statements
in it; a book that is consistent, and points out both ways Heaven and
Hell. The hearts of those who reverence God soften up for the Quran when
they listen to it. God bestows his guidance upon whom He pleases. As for
those sent astray by God, nothing can guide them. (34:28) (12:104) (39:23)
3. The Quran, a mercy from God
The Quran is a beacon and mercy for those who possess
intelligence. We should preach with it to those who reverence the
summoning before their Lord and uphold His message. As for the
disbelievers, it is the same whether we warn them or not, they cannot
believe. It has been predetermined that most of them will not believe.
(6:51) (12:111) (45:20) (36:11) (50:45) (36:7; 10)
It is full of wisdom. In it there is healing and mercy
for the believers. Yet it only increases the perdition of the
transgressors. (17:82) (36:2)
God did not send down the Quran to cause us any hardship
but only to remind those who fear God. It came from our Lord through his
messenger to warn us and to lead us to righteousness that we may attaint
mercy. (7:2) (20:2-4) (11:114) (7:63)
It is not poetry, nor the prophet was a poet. But it is a
reminder, a message without any ambiguity, the only consistent source of
the religion, and a lecture making things clear. (36:69) (39:28) (22:16)
(38:49) (39:29)
Neither the disbelievers among the followers of the
scripture, nor the idol worshipers, wish to see any good things come down
to us from our Lord. However, God showers His blessings upon whomever He
chooses even if the transgressors don't like it. God is the possessor of
mighty grace. (2:105)
4. All kinds of examples set forth in the Quran
God has revealed it an Arabic Quran, and he cited in it
the best stories and all kinds of prophecies that we may learn wisdom.
(12:2-3) (20:113) (11:120)
He has revealed a clarifying revelations, and examples
from the past generations, and an enlightenment for the righteous. (24:34)
God has set forth in it all kinds of examples that people
may be mindful. Even though it only adds to their aversion and most of
them insist upon disbelieving. The human being is more than anything
argumentative. Yet, no matter what kind of proof you present to the
disbelievers, they say, "You are falsifiers." (17:41) (17:89) (18:54)
(30:58)
5. Learning the Quran
If any one wishes to learn the Quran, God will make it
easy for him to understand. (54:17,22,32,40)
When we read it, we shall seek refuge in God from Satan
the rejected. (16:98)
When it is being recited, we shall listen to it with
attention, so that we may attain mercy. (7:204)
We shall observe the Contact Prayer and the recitation of
the Quran at dawn since the morning recitation is witnessed. (17:78)
Why don't we meditate on the Quran? If it were from other
source than God, we would have found in it a great deal of contradictions.
(4:82)
It is useful to meditate and read the Quran during the
night. The meditation at night is more effective, and more righteous. God
knows that we cannot always do this. He has forgiven us. Instead, we shall
read whatever we can of the Quran. He knows that some of us may be ill,
others may be traveling or striving in the cause of God. God is Forgiving,
Most Merciful. If we desert the Quran, the messenger will be a witness
against us. (73:2-6,20) (25:30)
6. The disbelievers definitely prevented from understanding the
Quran
Whenever the Quran is read, God places shields around the
mind of the disbelievers and deafness in their ears, to prevent them from
understanding it. And when you mention God, using the Quran alone, they
turn their backs in aversion. No matter what kind of miracle they see,
they cannot believe and they say, "these are tales from the past". They
repel others from the Quran, as they themselves stay away from it, and
thus, they only destroy themselves without perceiving. (17:46) (6:25-26)
(26:5)
Even if a Quran caused mountains to move, the earth to
tear asunder or the dead to speak, the disbelievers would not believe. The
believers would better give up and realize that if God willed, He could
have guided all mankind. (13:31)
When God substitutes one revelation in place of another,
the disbelievers conclude without knowing that the Quran is a human's
work. But whether they believe it or not, it is the Holy Spirit who has
brought it down from the almighty, truthfully, to provide good news for
the submitters. (16:101-102) If it's a human fabrication. Then why do
they not produce ten chapters fabricated and call on everyone they can
beside God, if they tell the truth. (11:13)
Even when the disbelievers accept to follow the Quran,
they accept it only partially. Surly God will question them about what
they have been doing. (15:91)
They ask, " Why has not the Quran been revealed to the
prophet all at once?" But the Most wise wanted to release it to his
prophet gradually, in order to fix it in his memory and to strengthen his
heart with it. (25:32)
Some disbelievers never listen to the Quran and try to
distort it, that they may win. God will certainly afflict them with a
severe retribution for their evil works. (41:26-27)
Some people were wondering why it was not sent down
through another man who was prominent. In fact God knows where to assign
his mercy better than them. (43:31-32)
The Quran is a decisive statement. It is no Joke. It
shouldn't be taken lightly. The disbelievers plot and scheme, and so does
God. He just puts up with them for a short respite. (86:13-17)
The only religion approved by God is "Submission."
Ironically, those who have received the scripture are the ones who dispute
this fact, despite the knowledge they have received, due to jealousy. For
such rejectors of God's revelations, God is most strict in reckoning.
(3:19)
7. A group of jinns has believed in the Quran
A number of jinns were turned towards the prophet, in
order to hear the Quran. As soon as they finished listening, they believed
in it and they rushed to their people, warning. They said, "O our people,
we have heard a book that was revealed after Moses, and confirms the
previous scriptures. It guides to the truth; to the right path. O our
people, respond to the call of God, and believe in Him. He will then
forgive your sins, and protect you from a painful punishment." (46:29-31)
(72:1-2)
8. Satan's work nullified by God
The Quran is not an utterance of a banished devil, but it
is a Message to all the Worlds from the Almighty, for those who wish to go
straight. (81:25-29) (38:87)
The devils can never reveal the Quran. They neither
would, nor could, because they have been removed far from even hearing it.
(26:210-212) (72:9)
During the revelation of the Quran, the devil tried to
interfere in his wishes like he did with the other prophets. Then God
nullified what the devil has done and perfected His revelations. He thus
sets up the devil's scheme as a test for those who have doubts in their
hearts. So the wicked remain disbeliever. Those who are blessed with
knowledge will recognize the truth from their Lord, they will believe in
it, and their hearts yield to it, then God will guide them in the right
path. As for those who disbelieve, they will continue to have doubts until
the day of judgment overtakes them suddenly. (22:52-55)
9. The Quran a protected book
The Glorious Quran is preserved in the original master
witch God possess; it is indeed sublime, full of wisdom. Thus, there is no
way to alter God's words. (43:2-4) (10:64) (15:9)
It is a special revelation from God, preserved in a
guarded tablet. He is the one who collected it, then explained it to the
submitters. (75:17) (85:22)
The Most Gracious, the Teacher of the Quran, swears by
the positions of the stars that he sent an honorable Quran, in a protected
book. None can grasp it except the sincere. (55:1-2) (56:75,77,79)
We shall recite what is revealed in our Lord's scripture.
Nothing shall abrogate God's words, and we shall not follow any other
source beside it. (18:27)
Praise God, who revealed to his servant this scripture,
and made it flawless. A perfect scripture to warn of severe retribution
from him, and to deliver good news to the believers who lead a righteous
life, that they have earned a generous recompense. (18:1-2)
